Another Hectic Weekend For Cycle SuperStore Staff

0

It was another hectic weekend for the Cycle SuperStore staff. First up was mountain bike expert Mick Jordan. Mick traveled west to Westport and took part in the Gaelforce West. After an early start of 5:30am for a race start of 7:00am, Mick won his age category and finished an amazing 8 o/a. Mick commented, “the day started dismal with rain and wind, but cleared up on the beach for the first wave start at 7am, by the time we had reach Croagh Patrick, the clouds had disappeared, to reveal Westport bay in all its finest”.

First up was Brian Melia who finished a fantastic 2nd in S2. This was then followed by Gareth Hegarty who finished an impressive 5th o/a, but more importantly retains his overall lead heading into the final round which takes place on the 9th of July in Union wood, Co Sligo
