With the MTB Demo weekend only a week away, we answer some of the frequently asked questions.
When and where is the MTB demo weekend taking place?
The MTB Demo weekend takes places on 17th/18th November in ‘The Gap, Glencullen Adventure Park’ between the times of 11am-3pm. Directions to ‘The Gap’ can be found HERE
Who will be there and what bikes are available to test ride?
Biking dirty, Bespoke Cycles, The Bike Rack and Cycle Superstore will all be in attendance. Attendees will be able to sample the following bike brands
- Merida
- Santa Cruz
- Scott
- Cannondale
- Lapierre
- Mondraker
- Transition
Attendees will also be able to test ride the new LOOK X MTB pedal
How much does it cost?
This event is FREE. However attendees will be required to pay €5 park entry to the GAP and sign the online waiver. The online waver can be found HERE
Do I need to pre-register?
No, simply turn up between 11am-3pm on both days
What do I need to have with me to test ride a bike?
You will need to bring two things with you
- Helmet. This is mandatory and no exceptions will be made. No helmet-No bike
- Photo ID. This too is mandatory and no exceptions will be made. No photo ID- No Bike (passport and driving licence only)
Will The Gap be open while the demo weekend is taking place?
Yes the Gap will be open as normal while the demo weekend is taking place. Uplifts service will be available both days and must be booked directly with The GAP. For more information click HERE
