Cycle SuperStore Ride Out- Important Information

With the finishing touches being added to Saturday’s Ride Out (July 22nd), here is some important information regarding the event.

Start Time

The event will start at 10am. On-line registration will close at 3 pm on Friday the 21st of July. To register for the event please click HERE

Everyone that registers on line for the event will be in with a chance of winning an ASSOS/BMC Irish National Team jersey. 

Late registration will be available on the morning of the event and will open at 9:30 am and will cost €6. All participants must sign a disclaimer before proceeding in the event.

Route

The route is 70 km long and participants are reminded that this event is not a RACE. The route can be found HERE. There will be no marshal at junctions, so all participants are to observe the rules of the road and obey cycling etiquette while out on the route. Cycle SuperStore team members will be on hand to guide participants around the route. Participants please take note that resurfacing has been taking place on the Old Military Road from Sally Gap Crossroads to Lough Brae and there is loose chipping on the road.

Insurance

Cycle SuperStore does not provide insurance for this event. We strongly recommend participants become members of Cycling Ireland and avail of their personal accident and public liability by virtue of their Cycling Ireland membership

Cycle SuperStore cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or injury while taking part in this event. Participants are taking part in this event at their own risk. All participants will be required to sign a disclaimer before proceeding.

Medical cover will be provided on the day. Each participant will be given contact details for the medical cover.

Food Stop

A food stop will be provided. This food stop will be located at 33.8 km. It will be situated in the Car Park of the RTE Kippure Mast event.

Mechanical cover will also be provided on the day.

Post Event

When participants arrive back at Cycle SuperStore they can avail of a complimentary tea or coffee in the FrameWorks Cafe. An E-bike demonstration will be taking place between 12pm-4pm and participants can avail of the opportunity to test ride the E-bikes.
