National Bike Week is a celebration of cycling and everything that we love about it. Here at Cycle Superstore, we’re very excited about what we have coming for the NBW. Cycling means everything for us, so we’re really happy that these kinds of initiatives happen and we praise them.

Sunday – 12th September
Pedalpalooza
When: 1PM – 5PM
Who: Families, all ages, open to the public
Where: Fairview Park
Pedalpalooza is our flagship Bike Week event. It’s a family-friendly bike festival, taking place in Fairview Park
Pedalpalooza aims to celebrate and promote the benefits of cycling through workshops, guided cycles and fun activities. A wide range of activities, suitable for all ages and abilities, will be held in the park to get people moving and to promote a more sustainable urban mobility culture, such as e-bike and cargo bike demos, information tents, children’s workshops, bike maintenance workshops, and much more!
We are encouraging people to walk or cycle to this event, where possible. Free bike parking will be available in the park.
Activities include: Guided cycles, Cycle bus drop-on session, Cycle fashion upcycling workshop, Bike maintenance workshop, Pedal-Powered Workshops, Fitness for Kids, Cycling Obstacle Course, Yoga in the Park
Monthly Cycles Bike Week Cycle – 12PM
Monthly Cycles are a Dublin-based initiative, with the aim of bringing women in Dublin together each month for an inclusive cycle around the city. These are social events, with the added bonuses of exploring the capital, sharing experiences, exchanging tips, and (very importantly) enjoying cake.

Guided Cycle to Clontarf promenade
When: 1PM

Where: Fairview Park
This 7km cycle leaves from Fairview Park and travels along the Clontarf promenade to the wooden bridge. To sign up for this event please complete the online registration.
Guided Cycle to Royal Canal
When: 3PM
Who: Open to all
Where: Fairview Park
This 4km cycle leaves from Fairview Park and brings participants to the new premium cycle route along the Royal Canal. To sign up for this event please complete the online registration.

City Centre Lunchtime Cycle Tours

Join an exciting bike ride highlighting the best of Dublin led by Cycle Dublin Bike Tours. Ride past Dublin’s most famous attractions and historical sites. You’ll be taken through the most beautiful and interesting characteristics of the city and learn about its rich, strange history as well the quirks that makeup Dublin’s culture. The tour will start at Whitefriar Place, beside Aungier Street. Bicycles will be provided for this tour. The tour lasts one hour.

Explore Dublin with a genuine sports fanatic who is full of fun interesting facts from a broad range of sports. This is a fully guided tour and will sports ranging from cricket to Gaelic games. As well as filling you in on fun facts your guide will supply you with a bike, helmet, hi-viz and make sure you are safe at all times.
