For machine-washable items, opt for a delicate setting and use a non-bio detergent. Avoid softeners, especially for rain jackets, as they may clog the fabric. Zip It & Bag It
Wash your cycling clothes separately from regular laundry to prevent damage. Items like jeans or anything with Velcro can harm delicate fabrics. Before tossing them in the washing machine, zip everything up, turn them inside out, and place them in a mesh bag or pillowcase. Drying Out

Some products clean and re-proof your clothing simultaneously, requiring heat activation. Always follow the application instructions, ensuring the garment is clean and dry beforehand. Avoid treating non-fabric areas like buttons and zippers, and take precautions against inhaling chemicals as some products are flammable.
