If you’re new to the Gravity Enduro series, we’ve put together a list of our top 5 tips for this year’s series. These tips cover everything from course preparation and gear selection to pacing and skill development, and are designed to help riders excel in this demanding and exciting event.

These tips are sure to give you the competitive edge you need to succeed in the Gravity Enduro series. So read on, take notes, and get ready to tackle the challenges of this incredible event with confidence and skill

  1. Know the course – Before the race begins, take the time to familiarize yourself with the course, while making sure you adhere to the practice ban. Details of the routes will be made known before the event in the competitor notes, sent 3 days in advance. Pay attention to any particularly challenging sections or technical features, and make note of the best lines to take. This will give you a competitive edge and help you avoid any unexpected surprises.
  2. Bring the right gear – Make sure you have all the necessary gear for the race, including a full-face helmet. Gloves, knee pads, elbow pads and back protection are recommended but not compulsory. As part of your mandatory kit you will need bike repair items (tube, pump or CO2 canisters, allen keys, chain tool). Remember, you must have your mandatory equipment with you throughout the event. Certain age categories require additional equipement, youth (12-13) and under 17 (14-16) riders must wear a spinal protector and for the younger riders, 8 to 13 year old category – elbow pads, knee pads full face helmet and spine protection compulsory.
  3. Pace yourself – Gravity Enduro is a demanding event that requires both speed and endurance. Make sure to pace yourself throughout the event, taking breaks and hydrating when necessary. It’s better to finish strong than to burn out early on.
  4. Practice your skills – To excel at Gravity Enduro, you need to have a range of technical skills, including cornering, jumping, and descending. Practice these skills in the lead up to the event to ensure that you’re fully prepared.
  5. Have fun – Finally, remember that Gravity Enduro is a challenging but rewarding event that’s meant to be enjoyed. Don’t get too caught up in the competition, and take the time to appreciate the beautiful scenery and the thrill of the ride.
